Batch No. 1, consisting of 3,126 bottles, was bottled exclusively for the German market. The Ballechin 15 Year Old combines strong peat smoke notes with a lovely sherry character. It is a vatting of the heavily peated spirit, which was initially matured in first fill Bourbon casks and second fill Oloroso Sherry butts. Its sweet smoke and dark fruit aromas truly shine at 59. 4% cask
